2024 NOF Summer Royale Tournament

Registration for synchronous 2024 Summer Royale on Aug. 17, 2024

Registration for asynchronous 2024 Summer Royale on Aug. 19, 2024

Dear Forensics Community,

Phew! What a season! As our attention turns to summer, National Online Forensics is proud to offer you and your program a summer forensics experience - the 2024 Summer Royale.  This will be a synchronous video conference tournament held Saturday, August 17, 2024 and an asynchronous tournament with videos due Monday, August 19, 2024. It’s a great opportunity to dust off those public speaking and debating skills to get ready for a great 2024-2025 season!

The tournament will offer competition at all levels, from kindergarten to college. We have combined several events to encourage students to try out their new interps and platforms.  Summer Champions (gold medal winners) will receive online gift cards. Our schedule will include three prelims and a final (using Bronze/Silver/Gold award system) with each competition level taking only half the day (see schedule on invitation).

Key Points:

  • Registration is due by Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 6pm Pacific time on ForensicsTournament.net.

  • Super low entry fees ($5/event) are payable by credit card.

  • Each school is required to provide one judge for every 5 IE entries per pattern/2 debate teams. At the discretion of the Tournament Director, uncovered entries may be allowed but penalty fees will apply.

  • We will award gold medal winners with a $10 Amazon gift card. We will not send physical awards for this tournament, however, we will provide physical awards at all other tournaments throughout the season. This tournament is designed to be a low-barrier-to-entry event that allows competitors to showcase new speeches without the pressure of a larger tournament.

We hope you and your team can join us in August for some summer forensics fun.  If you have any questions please feel free to email us at info@nationalonlineforensics.org

Sincerely,

Danny Cantrell and Robert Cannon
